Who we are

INDEXED is run by Max Carter and a small team of practitioners who have spent years in the trenches of SEO, content, and now AI search visibility. Max leads the site and brings 15 years of hands-on SEO experience, plus a more recent focus on GEO and AEO: helping websites get found and cited by AI search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews, not just ranked on a search results page.

What we do

We build practical, platform-specific tools and guides for people who build and manage their own websites, whether that's on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, or newer AI-assisted builders like Lovable and Durable. No jargon, no filler, no recycled advice. Just what to fix, why it matters, and how to do it on the specific platform you're using.

INDEXED itself, the free audit tool this site is built around, gives you plain-language, platform-specific fixes instead of a wall of generic SEO scores nobody knows what to do with.

Why we started this

Most SEO advice online is written for people who already have an agency, a developer, or a marketing team. We built this for the small business owner or solo builder who doesn't have any of that, and doesn't have time to become an SEO expert either. Everything here is free, specific, and written so you can act on it right away.
